Description

This stainless steel bit has a full cheek, a central joint and loose copper rollers on the mouthpiece. The rollers are designed to encourage the horse to mouthe the bit, and the copper helps the horse to salivate. It is slightly stronger than your standard jointed snaffle mouthpiece. The full cheek prevents the bit from being pulled through the horse’s mouth. Correctly used with fulmer keepers, the mouthpiece cannot be turned over in the horse’s mouth while at work. Also, the full cheek provides more lateral control by creating light pressure on the horse’s cheeks. Sizes: 5″ and 5.5″
